Club members sometimes forget their things during training sessions or tournaments.

We usually manage to remember the ownership of the rackets, but it is a little bit more difficult with clothing.

Some of us rest during a summer, but others can't wait to participate in new badminton battles.

For the latter ones — badminton tournament "Summertime 2013".

At the end of the summer, we'll check our abilities and newly discovered tactics and strategies.

We will play as much as possible, therefore try to recover you strength before the event.

Badminton training in the sports hall will continue throughout the summer!

We train from 18.30 to 20.30 on June, July and August.

And for the normal ones, we wish a good rest during summer, and don't forget your rackets when going out to nature.

Let us spend the 16th of February purposefully, combining commemoration of Lithuania's Independence Day and our beloved sport — badminton!

The event that you are definitely going to participate at, is "Patriots' tournament 2013".

But on this kind of day we can't let ourselves be individualists, therefore it is going to be team tournament.

The composition of the team is at least 2 women and 2 men, level of playing — C and D.

Organizers: “Badminton Virus” and Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Why: Because for once we have to take control of ourselves, stand up from the Christmas table and shake well to get rid of all the excess food!

When: 2012 m. December 27 d. Starting at 17.00, finishing at latest 22.00.
Umpires: Main and most fearful — Deimantas Čekanauskas. Participants will be umpiring on courts.

We wish the cosiest of Christmas and a Happy New Year, and hope that this year was better than the last, and will be much worse than the next!

Let the snow be soft, Christmas tree — green, the shuttle — fast and precise.

Also, we'd like to inform, that during the period of Christmas and New Year, badminton training will take place as usual, with the following exceptions:

We're happy — not only the sports halls starting from September are full of badminton players, both experienced and newcomers, but also club members achieved good results in the first tournament of the new season in Kaunas.

"Badminton virus" was happy to help the organizers of amateur badminton tournament "Vilnius Feather 2012" that took place on August 25th in Lukiškių square in Vilnius.

The club was contributing with its competence, equipment and experience.

The tournament was held on 6 courts. There were 24 teams with at least 4 members each, consisting of musicians and journalists, business sharks and babes :)

Everybody, who doesn't live in the basement, knows that the best place to watch sports in Vilnius is "Gringo" pub.

Therefore, we are very happy to inform that you'll feel like at home (i.e. in training) there, as two badminton rackets passing by realized that this is the place just for them and made themselves comfortable on the ceiling. A shuttle joined them rather soon.

After a short chat with the happy settlers, we found out a little secret — not only football or basketball, but also badminton matches are expected to be shown in "Gringo" in the future.

"Just the two of us, we can make it if we try" — what better words to describe the passion, energy and determination of badminton doubles game!

Therefore, the song embedded below gets the status of the official "Badminton virus" doubles anthem.
