Q & A

What are the age limits?

Lower limit is 7-10 years of age, and the upper — until your hands can hold the racket!

Do I necesserily have to train / practice?

Serious training is not necessary, you can just play for fun.

I don't have a partner, will there be someone to play against?

There are about 16-20 players of different levels in the sports hall at the same time. The coach divides the players according to their skill, therefore advanced players play amongst themselves and beginners play at their own level. In that way it is interesting and adequate game for everybody. Also, if there are more players of the same skill level, we change partners and opponents to keep the variety and create better opportunities for improvement of your game. That's where badminton differs from squash or tennis, where it is common for two players to arrive together and play only between themselves.

What equipment do I have to bring along?

Do bring indoor sports shoes and short sports wear. If you don't have any, we can offer a selection of specialized badminton equipment.

We will provide a racket for you for the first month and plastic shuttles for each training session free of charge.

Also, before coming to a first session, please acquaint yourself with badminton rules.

See you soon!
